In accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and international data privacy regulations (GDPR), your personal data is processed by Ekoda Storage Inc. ("Ekoda") acting as the Data Controller.

Ekoda ensures that personal data is handled securely, transparently, and strictly for legitimate commercial and storage purposes.

Depending on your interaction with Ekoda, we process the following data categories:

• Identity Data: Full name, national ID / passport number for contract authentication.

• Contact Data: Phone number, email address, physical billing address.

• Customer Transaction Data: Unit type, rental duration, storage hub selection, access logs.

• Financial & Billing Data: Tax number, payment records, bank account details, VAT e-invoices.

• Physical Security Data: CCTV video recordings within common corridors and facility entryways.

Your personal data is processed under Article 5 of KVKK based on the following legal grounds:

• Necessity for the establishment and performance of the self-storage rental contract.

• Fulfillment of statutory legal, tax, and invoicing obligations.

• Legitimate interests of Ekoda, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights (e.g., facility perimeter security).

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your data is being processed, request access or corrections, demand erasure under statutory conditions, and object to unlawful processing.
